We’re now in the thick of our wedding season and if you follow us on social media you’ll have seen how incredibly busy we are!
After the last couple of years, it’s been so good for us to get back to work on a full summer of sensational weddings and events. We cannot fault our exceptional team who fully embrace life on the road - working around the clock to bring together amazing celebration spaces for all our couples.
Wedding Showcase
Back in April we built 3 of our incredible Will’s Marquees tents at the beautiful Cheshire venue, Duddon Mill Farm and ‘lifted our walls’ to the public for our 2022 wedding showcase.
We worked alongside The Little Brick House and Whitehouse Crockery to create inspirational tablescapes and unique styling solutions to inspire our guests for their own marquee celebrations and we were joined by Ombibulous Bar to keep everyone refreshed!
During our evening event, as the sun set and the firepit crackled outside, we created atmosphere inside our 12m x 34m ‘showstopper’ with creative lighting by Lightech.
Many visitors came to experience our spectacular wedding set-up at Duddon Mill Farm, for some it was the beginning of their wedding journey, for others plans were well underway but for us, it was truly a pleasure to meet so many lovely couples along with their families and friends and taking the time to chat all things weddings with those that came along.
New For 2022
We are so excited to have launched brand new additions to our Will’s Marquees structures at our wedding showcase back in April.
The Will’s design team up in Yorkshire, have created a series of additional pieces for their beautifully handcrafted canvas and timber pole tents and - yes, we are biased - but they really are superb!
Portico
The ‘Portico’ is a canvas and timber pole porch structure that creates quite an entrance to the marquee. Completely bespoke to our structures, this feature would look stunning styled with foliage and a statement floral installation. It is also a practical piece and acts as an outside covering for those party goers who may need some air!
Reveal
The ‘Reveal’ is our favourite launch for this year. A beautifully draped curtain, handsewn using excellent quality cotton fabric, working on a rope pulley system for ease. This piece can be installed to section off ‘areas’ within the open plan marquee and creates quite an impact on your guests as a beautifully dressed dining space is revealed. Practically, this curtain is the perfect solution to closing off certain areas whilst furniture is being moved, dinner is being cleared etc…
Disco Galaxy
Finally, we can’t update you on our latest news without a mention of our extremely popular dancefloor favourite the Disco Galaxy - formerly known as the Glitter Galaxy.
A great alternative to a singular disco ball, this funky feature can be installed as a stand alone piece or alongside a lighting rig to create atmospheric party lighting across the canopy and dancefloor.
